This Big City is a multi-award-winning urbanism blog launched in 2009 by Joe Peach. It has been read millions of times and is home to thousands of articles on culture, community, innovation and place.

🏆 This Big City has received a smattering of recognition since launch, including being named one of the world’s best .net websites by Entrepreneur Magazine.

👋🏻 Joe has spent over a decade leading communications and brand initiatives for mission-driven tech companies – including global conglomerates, VC-backed scale-ups and Seed-stage startups. He is Senior Brand and Communications Manager at Prolific after stints at WhereIsMyTransport, Siemens and IBM. He is based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

👨🏻‍🎓 Joe is a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner who specialises in technology and the built environment. He holds an MSc in Real Estate and Planning, an MA in Sustainable Communities & the Creative Economy and a BA (Hons) in Visual Studies.
