#citytalk – tweeting about sustainable cities

#citytalk was our tweetchat series exploring issues and trends affecting cities around the world. Founded by Joe Peach of This Big City and Rashiq Fataar of Future Cape Town, #citytalk was just like any other discussion about sustainable cities, except on Twitter!

#citytalk started in January 2012, and and ran for 31 chats with 15 co-hosts and countless members of the TBC and FCT teams. Over that time we reached 20 million people.

#citytalk is in hibernation right now, but who knows what the future holds?! If you’ve got any ideas for a future #citytalk tweetchat, we’d love to hear them! Get in touch with Alejandro Echeverria on aen [at] thisbigcity [dot] net.
