This month’s Icon, a magazine that covers architecture, design and culture, features a celebration of the blog-hosting service, Blogger.
The article praises Blogger for being part of the online movement that brought blogging into the design and architecture mainstream, and highlights noteworthy professional blogs, as well as high quality ‘amateur’ bloggers.
Its not entirely full of praise however, claiming the blog format encourages poor quality interactions from readers, reducing it to ‘a beauty contest judged by hecklers’, but ultimately, the design blog is here to stay, and is likely to become more and more prominent as content moves online.
