The powerful combination of internet-led change and global economic challenges has revolutionised many sectors, and education is no different. Individuals now have more choices than ever for adult education, ranging from the traditional – and increasingly expensive – bricks and mortar degrees, to online offerings where you can get a Degree without entering a classroom. Child education is also increasingly affected by digital tools such as e-learning, with ‘internet skills’ even being considered as a way to tackle long-term unemployment.
