    The powerful combination of internet-led change and global economic challenges has revolutionised many sectors, and education is no different. Individuals now have more choices than ever for adult education, ranging from the traditional – and increasingly expensive – bricks and mortar degrees, to online offerings where you can get a Degree without entering a classroom. Child education is also increasingly affected by digital tools such as e-learning, with ‘internet skills’ even being considered as a way to tackle long-term unemployment.

    Step back from our individual education choices, though, and national differences still factor heavily in the way we consume education. This newly released infographic from Accredited Online Schools compares education the United States, China, Russia, France, Germany and Japan:
