The economic impact of California’s Silicon Valley has encouraged cities across the globe to try and replicate it. London’s ‘Silicon Roundabout‘ has borrowed the name, and this recently-released infographic suggests that Hong Kong could become ‘Silicon Harbour’ – China’s equivalent. Though it ignores the high cost of living in Hong Kong compared to other Chinese cities, this infographic presents some interesting facts nonetheless, such as internet access, social media adoption and number of new business launched in recent years.
