INTERNS WANTED: Volunteer Spanish, French, Hungarian and Persian Translators

This Big City exists to share ideas and encourage discussion about sustainable cities, whatever language people enjoy reading in. That’s why we publish in Spanish, French, Hungarian and Persian to complement our English, Chinese and Italian sites, and we need your help.

With a back catalogue of over 700 English language articles, there is a wealth of content ready for translation. Working with Spanish Editor Alejandro Echeverria, French Editor Felicia Todor, Hungarian Editor Csada Gergely or Persian Editor Sepid Soltani you will play a critical part in building an archive of content for our new readers, gaining experience in working for an award winning online media operation in the process.

All applicants need to have a good command of English and either Spanish, French, Hungarian or Persian. An interest in sustainable cities is desirable.

• You will be required to work remotely.
• The time commitment and duration of the internship is negotiable.
• These internships are unpaid. You would be credited for your translation work on each article and This Big City’s editors will gladly provide you with a reference on completion of your internship.
