We collaborate with individuals and organisations on social media projects and events.
This Big City is based in London and has a global reach, publishing in English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian and Hungarian. We explore ideas that make cities more sustainable, using social media as a platform to share and discuss. Our website receives visitors from across the globe, with most residing in the US, the UK and Taiwan. We have over 180,000 followers on Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.
We’re always looking for new organisations to work with on social media projects, advertising, sponsorship, or in other ways. If you’re interested in engaging with a global audience passionate about cities, we’re happy to discuss potential collaborations.
We’ve worked with charities, NGOs, companies, and events, including Smart, Transport for All, Arup, BMW Guggenheim Lab, Siemens, International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam, New Cities Foundation, Ecobici, European Cyclists’ Federation, Philips and The Theatres Trust.
Hundreds of writers and translators have contributed to This Big City and we currently count Transportation Nation, Future Cape Town and The Grid as content partners. We run an internship programme for French, Spanish, Hungarian and Persian Translators.
Our editors often speak about urban planning, sustainable communities, and digital technologies for citizen engagement at conferences and events in English, Chinese and Spanish.
